- You don’t have to have it all figured out. Appreciate where you are and know that you’re on the right track.
- There’s no timetable for how your life should or shouldn’t be before you turn 30. Comparison is your worst enemy. Every timeline looks different, you’re doing just fine.
- If you’re not already saving money – start now. While you’re still young, it’s important that you establish a savings account for the years to come.
- Love yourself more.
- Always seek to make new friends.
- Sign up for a new workout class, painting class, or any class that interests you every few months.
- Explore new hobbies.
- Don’t settle for people who don’t value you.
- You’re always doing the best you can, and that’s all you can do.
- Don’t participate in gossip.
- Find people who make you feel love and peace; keep them close.
- It’s never too late to start over.
- Appreciate the little things as often as you can.
- Have more faith and confidence in yourself.
- Exercise or move your body at least once a day.
- Fuel your body with healthy food.
- Focus on what’s in front of you instead of what’s behind you.
- Don’t take anything personally. Most of what people say to you is a projection of themselves and has little or nothing to do with you.
- Take social media breaks. Too much social media can have a negative impact on your emotional and mental health.
- Get outside at least once a day. Vitamin D is important. Wear your sunscreen.
- Travel as often as you can to places you’ve never been before. Adventure and explore the world around you.
- Take yourself on dates. You don’t need a partner to enjoy a glass of wine at your favorite restaurant. Stop thinking you have to.
- Moisturize your skin. If you’re wanting to prevent wrinkles, you’ll want to make sure you take good care of your skin every night and every morning.
- Laugh often. Don’t take life so seriously all the time. Find things that make you laugh. Learn to laugh at yourself.
- Always work on self-growth. Read books. Listen to informational podcasts.
- Meditate. Mindfulness is incredibly important to your overall well being – meditation helps you to cultivate it. Try and meditate for at least 10 minutes a day.
- Take a break from dating. If you’ve been off and on dating, and it’s not going anywhere – give yourself a break. Focus on yourself.
- The right person will come along eventually. Enjoy your independence and freedom.
- Call your mom or dad once a week.
- Don’t burn bridges.
