1 large can garbanzo beans/chickpeas, rinse under cold water

2 tablespoons olive oil

2.5 teaspoons ground cumen

2 teaspoons smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

Heat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Take the rinsed chickpeas and lay them on a paper towel to dry. In a mixing bowl, gently toss the chickpeas with the olive oil and spices.

Take a lined cookie sheet and spread the chickpeas on the sheet. Roast in the oven until the chickpeas turn golden brown, for about 30-40 minutes.

Let cool. Chickpeas should still be a little tender but has a nice bite to it.
