Q1: Tell me more about yourself, and why you gone to this medical field?
A1: I am an author, health and weight loss expert, speaker. I grew up with a single mother and two younger brothers. My mother was ill most of my childhood and largely as a result of her lifestyle choices. My mother was overweight, chose unhealthy foods to eat, smoked heavily etc. She really felt that this was her lot in life, like many people do, that they have no choice. I knew intuitively, even as a young child, that she could make other choices. Most of the care of my brothers was left to me. I remember one day walking into her bedroom and I saw a bottle of vitamins on her dresser.
I was so happy to see that because it meant that she finally got it, that she was starting to take care of herself. Well, that bottle just sat there, yet every day I looked to see if she had taken a vitamin and the bottle just sat there collecting dust. I finally stopped looking and sadly she died at the very young age of 36. It was because of my mother’s struggle that I knew what I wanted to do: to help others create a healthier life and helping them understand that they do have a choice.
Q2: How your journey started and what difficulties you faced to get your goals?
A2: The motivation all began with my mother’s death. I knew I wanted to help others move forward and know that they really do have the power within them to create the life they want. However, I had always been highly interested in health and nutrition. I would peruse any bit of information in the form of books, magazines, people etc for knowledge even as a young child. The difficulties in achieving my goals were only related to a career change. I chose to go into counseling and then switched to health and nutrition later down the road. I combined the two to create a coaching program that encompasses health and my background in psychology.

A3: It is a system that is designed to take any individual or corporate setting, at any stage of health and create optimal health and weight loss. Optimal health attracts more optimal health in much the same way energy begets energy.
Q4: Some advice on how to get a perfect body (Weight-Loss tips)?
A4: Yes, drop the five letter word SUGAR. Sugar is the #1 inflammatory ‘food’ and the average American ingests 156 lbs of added sugar a year. Inflammation is pervasive and is the core cause of most illness disease, faster aging and weight gain. Also, say goodbye to white flour – it too is metabolized in much the same way sugar is: spiking blood sugar, triggering insulin (your fat storage hormone) and ultimately creating inflammation down the road.
Q5: Which Fruits & Vegetables we should considered in our daily diet to maintain a healthy lifestyle?
A5: Stay with low-sugar fruits such as berries, apples and kiwi. Eat as many veggies as you want! The antioxidants, phytonutrients, vitamins, minerals and enzymes in veggies and fruits, will help to create optimal health and weight loss along with other strategies. Nutrition is 80% of your optimal health success.
Q6: What’s your future plan to expand your network to help more people to get their dream healthy life?
A6: I am working on various projects right now – multi-tasking! One such project is creating a unique teaching platform via video to help others take control of their weight loss. I also have a book coming out next year published by Harper Collins on weight loss and many others going on. I continue to reach as many people as possible with my message via radio, television and print.
