Ah, the love for vacations. Man definite and most delicate desire [never more than sex, for sure]. But humans simply love to travel and when they do, they do it in style. Plus, if you’re a celeb, it becomes grand. Though the actual travel is a little out of the common man’s reach, knowing and following the loved spots of the stars is always a pleasure. And so here comes the top tour destinations of the celebs. Ta da! Here we go.
Africa
At No.8, conquering the hearts of the billion-dollar couple Pitt-Jolie, football star hubby Cheryl Cole, Africa’s Namibia and South Africa itself. Cheryl went off with her mom for New Year and Pitt-Jolie couple spent the wait for their first baby, Shiloh, at the Shore Resort in Long Beach.
Jaipur, India
In at No.7, it perhaps is one of the most luxurious honeymoon hotels. The Taj Rambagh Palace in Jaipur stands alone as Hollywood celebrities Indian favorite. Russel Brand certainly swept off Katy Perry‘s feet after the duo spent their Christmas in the presidential suite, where they enjoyed their own sunken Jacuzzi, circular bed and personal butler.
The Seychelles
The 6th spot belongs solemnly to The Seychelles. A 115-island country, spanning an archipelago in the Indian Ocean, some 900 miles off the African coast, it embraces newly weds in a way of its own. Though not Hollywood, the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge, yes, that’s right, William and Kate is said to have taken a liking to this idyllic tourist destination only ten days after their glittering.
Las Vegas
No. 5 on my list is the Las Vegas. Whether you’ve visited it or not, the casinos of the ‘Hangover’ stereotypes are hard to forget. Big celebs- Ben Affleck,Nicholas Cage, Pamela Anderson– all fill in their quota of vacations here.
Hawaii
The exclusive Hawaii Islands, the Maui Four Season Resort where Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox‘s marriage and honeymoon was staged. The spot gives a choice of some serious shopping, a spot of whale watching, a day around the pool or a relaxing spa massage. Britney Spears would jump at any opportunity to check in here.
The French Riviera
Definitely being one of the most poshest and most lovingly beautiful places you can go, The French Riviera finishes on podium spot No.3. Not surprisingly at all, it is the choicest spot for Lily Allen, Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley, and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Private parties in yachts or a lounge at the peaceful beaches- this place truly holds a charm for the celebs. Johny Depp, in fact, went and bought a house here!
Cabo San Lucas
Phew, that was fast. Yeah, we’re upto No.2 and this spot is divine, let me tell you. It is reserved. Talk Mexican and there’s only one place that flashes across the stars. The heavenly Cabo San Lucas. Want to de-stress, and only Cabo San Lucas seems to satisfy them. But besides the jet skiing, para-sailing and other fun sports, they also enjoy the El Dorado Golf and Beach Club for VIP rest. Who? Here goes the list, Jennifer Aniston, Heidi Klum, Sienna Miller, and for Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie, it was to celebrate their nuptials.
The Bora Bora Islands
And alas, the crowning moment. At No.1, with something for everyone, lying some 230 kms from Papeete, an overseas collectivity of the French Polynesia (duh, the French, they know where to secure, huh?!), surrounded by a lagoon and a barrier reef, with two peaks rising out of the remnants of an old volcano, and famous for its aqua-centric ultra luxury resorts, which is why it provides secluded privacy for Nicole Kidman and Sharon Stone, water sport for Indian Hrithik Roshan’s family, impeccable accomodations for Eva Longoria; here sun-kissed beaches and the beautiful blue waters combine to perfect holidaying in every sense. Yes, you said it. The Bora Bora Islands!
