Just For Today : Live, Love, Share and Enjoy

"Just For Today : Live, Love, Enjoy and Share"

I will draw my own clear lines. What’s mine is mine. What’s yours is yours. Much as I’d like to help, it’s your path. I wish you well, but I can’t go there with you.

"Just For Today"

Just for today ->

I will take things one step at a time. Yes, I will write my list. I may not make it very far down the list. But I will check things off as I go along and feel grateful for the things I accomplish.

Just for today ->

I will try not to worry about the future. It is not happening now, so I have no control over what will be. All I can control is the choices I make in these moments. Will I choose wisely? I will do my best. That’s all I can ask of myself.

Just for today ->

I will let my imagination run wild. So many wonderful things are possible. Why not imagine theem to their fullest? I will write down the best ideas, so I don’t forget them.

Just for today ->

I will forgive myself. I have made so very many mistakes. I will make many more. I will remember that I have learned some vital lessons from my biggest screw ups. Good thing they happened, or I might not have learned!

Just for today ->

I will appreciate as many of the good people and things in my life as I can. I will remember to be grateful for my gifts, my resources, my privileges. I am so very lucky.

Just for today ->

I will not be afraid. Bad things happen everywhere, all the time. In the past, when faced with something terrible, I have approached it with as much grace and courage (and humor) as I could muster. And look at me – I have lived to tell the tale. Survival happens in small incremements. We do what we must and then look – we’re still here!

Just for today ->

I will do what I can to stay in the moment. It won’t be easy. I am easily distracted by concerns for others, aspirations, fantasies, regrets and fears. But I will look for the humor in the struggle, and try not to take myself too seriously.

And now, it’s time to get my day started with a nice cup of tea.

    Very nice suggestions and one for each day of the week. Sometimes we can take just one of these affirmations and repeat them daily. Love, Debby @AmitV_tweets:twitter
