We, Humanity, are slowly realizing that our planet is in a desperate needs for new measures to evolve humanly, environmentally, economically and politically towards a more cooperative, peaceful and respectful sense of interdependency. While the urgency is being felt on all levels, too many feel disempowered with the potential to spark a change, make a difference or even perceive an ounce of hope for the future.
The task isn’t small. Indeed, the task is so great that there is only one way to succeed. This way is God’ way. Realization of a new possibility, Responsibility and accountability, Cooperation and Association, Plan of Action, Focus and Discipline and finally, Recognition and Contemplation.
“You need to be the change you wish to see in the world”, said Gandhi and I feel that not only he was right in his perception, but more so he was true to his vision and look how he inspired.
1). Opening to the possibility
Nothing can ever be achieved until a possibility is envisioned. No one has ever been an agent of evolution who hasn’t first dreamt, imagined and visualized change as the most amazing space for Life to thrive. Let your heart open to a new possibility of you. Whenever an experience arrives to its maturity, it ultimately calls for a new one to grow into. You are the spark with the power to give Happinesst a way. Give yourself a dream and Life will show you a way.
“Stop thinking in terms of limitations and start thinking in terms of possibilities”. – Terry Josephson
2). Listening to another perception
While Wisdom is born out of moving through personal experience, there is a tremendous amount of it strengthened through listening. Indeed, there is little way for Peace and harmony to exist unless we aren’t willing to sit and listen to another perception and give respect to another sense of Truth. The very foundation of Peace exists in the compassion we all have for each other’s difference while honoring our own uniqueness.
Our Object should be Peace within and Peace without. We want to live peacefully and maintain cordial relations with out immediate neighbors and with the world at large. ~Muhammad Ali Jinnah
3). Meeting another half way
Listening to another is necessary. Walking the path to meet him half way is essential. It is the basis of unity and the evidence of a willing energy moving towards togetherness. We only have one Earth to share and it will take everyone to be walking towards that vision for the World to be safe, at Peace and blossoming into harmony.
The most important trip you may take in life is meeting people halfway. – Henry Boye
4). Cooperating on common vision
Cooperation on a small and large scales must become the way or else separation will keep thriving and keep create a sense of iniquity. There is enough for everyone yet everyone must be looking into his own value and be willing to share it with another for a vision to come alive.
If you want to be incrementally better: Be competitive. If you want to be exponentially better: Be cooperative. ~Unknown
5). Using individual genius to create Team work
The need for self-discovery is more than essential in creating a world of values and long-lasting peace. The reason is that when an individual realizes his strength, he knows his purpose and gives his life a meaning. When many geniuses team up, Inspiration fuels the system and the ultimate innovative machine is created.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” ~Margaret Mead
6). Valuing the journey
The last yet not the least step is the appreciation for the journey and the experience in itself. The value of Gratitude for Life can’t be stretched enough for whoever wishes to better the world. As it is the last piece of the growth process, it ultimately becomes the foundation of the next first one. Life is a motion-full flow that blossoms through self-realization and sense of inner-peace. Gratitude for achievements is sending a message to Life saying: Thank You, I am ready for more Goodness.
“Appreciation can make a day – even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary. ~Margaret Cousins
