7 Simple Intentions To Empower Your Prayers

1). Focus of intention: Determination to create a safe space to be vulnerable. A Prayer is a moment that create a space to surrender to something greater. This space cannot be fathomed by the mind. It can only be accessed with the heart.
Where there is room created for the heart, there is space created for Clarity

2). Purity of Intention:A prayer is a request that concerns a state of being. It touches the Soul of the being. You must be willing to shed each “ego” vibration around your intention in order for the space to be open, safe and true.

3). Humility of Intention: To access the space where the connection between Heaven & Earth becomes possible is to release all expectations about an outcome. It is a complete submission to Love. The acceptance of yielding any form of controlled energy. Servitude is the path to Mastery.

4). Strength of Intention: The strength spoken here is the intensity of the Faith with which the space is held. The uncompromising surrender to Life itself. The deepest doubtful moments where guidance is so trusted that all becomes possible. This is the confidence we have in approaching God.

5). Power of Intention:The power is the energy towards which the prayer in directed. The peace of God transcends all understandings. This is your belief that may filter this power.  Be open to receive Graces and goodness. This sense of being-ness is determined by knowing your essential nature.

6). Discipline of Intention:Like any other practice, repetitions in times and intensity perfect the result. however, remember that the result is always tied to the discipline of the practice for the power of a prayer lies in the revelation of the gift that its practice offers.
7). Courage of Intention:The 6 previous points determine the character of the one who expands self-awareness through the benefit of prayers. The courage that this practice demands is given to the real seeker of the Truth and the one whose heart is ready to surrender to Love. Find the courage to get on the journey to prayer as you know that this is the journey of your Life Within.

When you see Humility as a way to Mastery, then you see Love as the Path to God. ~Soul

Beautiful in its straight forwardness and brilliant in pulling back the curtain to help us see a little clearer in how our prayers can move the unseen. I really enjoyed the statement, “Be open to receive Graces and goodness. As humans looking within we see a lot of contradictions between who we know and feel we should be versus who we truly are. We’re complicated and often wonder how can we be deserving of grace and goodness. The first step to overcome those doubts and questions when faced with looking at our ourselves in the mirror is to to realize we have already received grace and goodness by recognizing grace and goodness led us to the point of prayer in the beginning. We are worthy to receive these things not because we are great or awesome. We are worthy to receive grace and goodness because the source of these blessings is pure love and has a heart full of grace and goodness intentioned for us already.

Thank you for sharing, seriously, it was a great inspiration to start my day.

Thank you for this wonderful post. Prayer and positive thinking takes discipline until it becomes a habit. I have been working on that for 2012. Yes, getting rid of the ‘ego’ is key. Pure, unselfish motives allow us to be guided in the right direction without attachment to the outcome – that can be challenging!
Thank you again, Aline and Amit, for this uplifting read!
